Our Story

How we began

Founded in Copenhagen in 2009, McKay Consulting partners with organisations worldwide to strengthen innovation capability and build truly product-centric cultures.

What differentiates the practice is a portfolio-career approach: I work across several companies and industries to pursue one central mission — helping mid- to large-size organisations enable and accelerate user-centric product innovation.

This happens through exchanging cultural traits, infusing new methods, building and managing critical talent, and driving strategic initiatives that connect vision with execution.

I engage in different ways depending on what the organisation needs: a full-time leadership role, an interim position to stabilise or elevate a function, or a focused consulting program designed to unlock momentum. Across all formats, the work is the same at its core — understanding how the organisation truly performs, where friction lives, and how design, product and strategy can be aligned to create real impact.

Over the years, I’ve refined this craft through hands-on roles inside global companies, learning how transformation actually happens when culture, practice, and ambition move together. It’s this lived experience I bring into every engagement: practical, human, and deeply committed to helping teams work better and innovate faster.
